Lash, genius inventor and all-around crackpot in the employ of Advance Wars 2's sinister Black Hole Army!

This was done as a commission for a friend of mine, who has since delivered unto me a mandate: post it to galleries, sell prints, SPREAD THE WORD OF LASH. I get the feeling he kinda likes the character.

Seriously, you're a wicked awesome artist. The detail on the small things, like the buckles and whatnot, is what sets this well apart from other drawings. You sure have a keen eye for detail, comrade! So keep up the good work. ;) Fu-fu-fu.

Without doubt the best work of Lash, or indeed any Advance Wars-type thing at all, that I have seen (just got it into my head to check one of my favourite games while I'm here). Brilliant pose, skin tone and most of all expression.

Seriously, that is excellent. And for me what sets it apart from the other pics is the way it's NOT seriously disturbing to me (call me a prude if you like, but I prefer if my video game characters keep their kit on, ya?)

Yeah- didn't know WHAT to do for the Black Hole Army troopers in the background. They just look so gosh-darn CUTE in-game, same as everything else. So I decided to give them all versions of Sturm's facemask, which ended up giving them that whole "wolf brigade" feel.

Yep! That'd be me. Just going by Ayvuir-Blue here because both Shax (which I usually blog under) and Shaz (which I use to sign my stuff) were taken, and I figured people wouldn't be hard-up enough for usernames to start using names from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance weaponry XD. Have WE met somewhere before, out of curiosity?
