Another ~Lee-Ham/Shax collaboration! I could get to like this whole colorist gig :D.

One would THINK a Spiny Suit would be the last word in Mushroom Kingdom protection! Sure, the Paper Mario games have made it abundantly clear that spikes don't help much against hammer attacks, but outside of the occasional Hammer Bro., that's really not THAT big a problem.

'Course, there ARE the odd critters like Spike here, who actually coughs up giant spiked balls to chuck at unwary adventurers ._.;. One speculates they have to re-load SOMETIME ^^;.

Started coloring this the other night to try and jump-start my stagnant artistic drive, and I think it MIGHT JUST have done the trick. Thanks again to Lee-Ham for giving me such great material to work with!

Woah, now this is certainly one of the more appealing suits to me. It's extremely cleverly designed and I especially like the spiked crown and heels.
As for the colouring, it's nothing short of your usual breathtaking quality and details such as the slightly stretched jowls and that trickle of spittle are things that, in my opion, make your work really stand out.

Missed the pool of liquid in the mouth at first glance. Methinks when he belches out the spiked ball, it will be sans Daisy ;)
